ZLO (“Zertifikat Lëtzebuerger Orthografie”)

Since 11 November 2024, you can register for the ZLO (“Zertifikat Lëtzebuerger Orthografie”), an official standardized test that allows anyone interested to assess their Luxembourgish spelling skills and obtain an official certification. 

The ZLO is the result of a collaboration between the Zenter fir d’Lëtzebuerger Sprooch (ZLS), the Luxembourg Center for Educational Testing (LUCET), and the Institut national des langues Luxembourg (INLL). 

The test to obtain the Zertifikat Lëtzebuerger Orthografie is conducted on a tablet at the INLL-Glacis. It lasts about 40 minutes and includes 90 randomly selected questions.
