The Italian department
The INL’s Italian department is made up of a small but cohesive group of highly qualified teachers; all are native speakers and have considerable experience and due training for teaching Italian as a foreign language to adults.
With Italian gaining ground worldwide as a beautiful language people enjoy learning and one that is widely used in music, culture, design, fashion, and the cinema, not to mention food and tourism, there has always been a good deal of interest in our popular courses.
Our department offers a wide range of quality language courses at every level of the European Framework, from beginners to the more advanced, in which learners are able to develop the four areas of language skills, with particular emphasis placed on oral production.
In addition to its general courses, the Italian department also offers specific courses such as ‘Italian culture and civilisation’.
