Language tandem

What is a language tandem?

A language tandem is a flexible and informal solution for completing language courses and/or practising the language with a native speaker.

The aim is to create a win-win communication situation for both partners. You speak the target language of your choice with a native speaker (or one with very good knowledge) and you offer your mother tongue or a language you are very good at to a partner who wants to learn this language.

Finding a tandem partner: registering and arranging meetings

The INLL is on hand to help you find the right tandem partner!

Fill in the registration card, which you will find in the basement of the INLL Glacis, near the Lingua restaurant or in the media library at INLL Glacis or Belval, and simply post it on the notice board.

You can also look at the registration cards of other learners and note the contact. Once you have found a tandem partner, take out your card and organise your language tandem meeting as, when and where it suits you best.

You can also organise your tandem on our premises.
