The Spanish Department
INL’s Spanish department comprises four qualified native-speaker teachers who hold qualifications from Spanish universities. They have also undergone substantial training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, and have extensive experience of teaching adults. As a result, Spanish courses at the INL have an excellent reputation.
470 million people speak Spanish worldwide as their mother tongue, making it the second most widely spoken language in the world. It is not only the official language of more than twenty countries and of a number of international organisations, but also the vehicle for a centuries-old culture of extraordinary wealth and variety.
INL offers courses in Spanish from levels A1 to C1. In addition to general language classes, there are also more specialised courses, including conversation, and Hispanic culture (variable from one year to the next).
