INL courses will continue to be taught remotely until the end of the current semester. National and international tests and exams will be held starting on 11th May 2020.
Dear INL learners,
Because of the emergency measures taken by the government to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus, INL courses will continue to be taught remotely until the end of the current semester, 9th July 2020 inclusive.
At the end of the semester, a certificate of competences will be issued as usual by your teacher. Your results will be based on your performance in online continuous assessment tasks for listening, reading and writing over the course of the semester. Speaking will be tested individually by phone or video call at the end of the semester. To pass the level, you need to achieve pass marks for three competences, one of which has to be speaking.
Only national and international exams and tests will take place at INL, starting on 11th May 2020 and in the strict obedience of the distancing measures established by the Ministry of Health. All candidates already enrolled for an exam or test (including the Sproochentest), will be able to take their exam or test before the end of the semester. If the exam or test has had to be postponed because of the temporary closure of INL, you will be contacted by the exams office as soon as possible to be given a new appointment.
The reception desks at INL will remain available by phone from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 12.00 and 13.00 to 16.00. You can also mail your queries to the school administration by completing the contact form available at: www.inll.lu
We would like to remind you that, in compensation for any inconvenience caused by the exceptional circumstances affecting instruction at INL during the 2020 spring semester, every student enrolled at present on a course at INL will receive a voucher for a free course for the 2020/21 school year. The exact terms of enrolment will be made known at the end of the semester by the INL course administration and your teacher.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Despite the inconveniences, we hope that you will continue learning successfully. Keep safe and look after yourselves and your loved ones.
